We do not use the recipient’s email address for anything other than the intended use. Nor do we store the recipient email address except in cases when the recipient requests that we include them in future tressallure.com communications.

We may use information we collect from you to provide you with newsletters, alerts, special offers, promotional offers or market research surveys by email, and we may maintain separate email lists for different purposes. If you wish to end your email subscription from a particular list, you need to follow the instructions at the end of each email message to unsubscribe, or “opt out”, from the particular list. Our opt out or unsubscribe process impacts only the future delivery of electronic mailings disseminated by us on our own behalf. You may still receive electronic mailings sent on behalf of third parties and your personally identifiable information may still be shared with third parties for use in offline marketing and data appends including email appends.

You should note that opting out or unsubscribing from our electronic mailings will not automatically unsubscribe your information from any third party business associate or licensee of such data. Such third parties maintain separate databases and therefore you will need to unsubscribe from each source individually, if you so desire. This allows you the freedom to pick and choose which subscriptions to maintain and which to discontinue.

Content of Email Messages. In certain commercial email messages sent by us, an Advertiser’s name will appear in the “From” line but hitting the “Reply:” button will cause a reply email to be sent to us. In addition to any fee of which you are notified, your provider’s standard messages rates apply to our confirmation and all subsequent SMS correspondence. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. We may also access the content of your account and wireless account with your carrier for the purpose of identifying and resolving technical problems and service related complaints.

You may remove your information from our database. If you remove your information from our database it will no longer be used by us for secondary purposes, disclosing to third parties or used by us to send promotional correspondence to you. You may remove your information by sending a request in writing via email to CustomerService@tressallure.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by sending “Stop”, “End”, “Quit”, to the SMS text message you have received from us.

7. Can-Spam Compliance. We send only verified, double opt in emails, specifically requested by our subscribers. We are compliant with the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing of Act of 2003.

8. Our Use of Cookies and Web Beacons. Like most websites, tressallure.com uses Cookies and web log files to track site usage. “Cookies” are alphanumeric identifiers in the form of text files that are inserted and stored by your web browser on your computer’s hard drive. We, our external service providers, internal service providers, and third party advertising companies, may set and may access Cookies on your computer in order to track and store preferential information about you. We and our external service providers, internal service providers, and third party advertising companies, gather anonymous information about you through Cookie technology on the aggregate level. We use both “session” Cookies and persistent Cookies on our website to help us provide you with a more personalized experience. For example, a third party advertising company may assign a Cookie (and a web beacon described below) to you, in order to limit the amount of times you see a particular advertisement, or to help better determine which advertisements to serve to you.

A “persistent” Cookie is set once you’ve logged into your tressallure.com account. The next time you visit tressallure.com, the persistent Cookie will allow us to recognize you as an existing registered user. In order to access or change any of your private information (for example, a credit card number) or to send a message to another user, however, you must log in securely again with your password regardless of whether your computer contains your persistent Cookie. Furthermore, if you log out of the tressallure.com website, you will need to reenter your password the next time you visit in order to log in to your account.

“Session” Cookies are used to identify a particular visit to tressallure.com. Session Cookies expire when, or a short period of time after, you close your web browser.

We use Cookies to improve the quality of our Services by storing user preferences and tracking user trends. In the course of serving advertisements or improving services to our users, we may allow authorized third parties to place or recognize a unique Cookie on your browser. Information provided to third parties through such Cookies may provide general segment information (such as your geographic location, your area of practice, information about your professional or educational background) to enhance customization of your user experience on tressallure.com. Most browsers are initially set up to accept Cookies, however you can usually reset your browser to refuse Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. If your browser does not allow Cookies or if you opt to refuse all Cookies, you may not be able to use the tressallure.com or some parts thereof.

“Web Beacons”, also called pixel tags, single pixel (1 X 1) or clear gifs, are electronic images which allow a website to access Cookies and help track marketing campaigns and general usage patterns of visitors to websites. Web Beacons can recognize certain types of information, such as Cookie numbers, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page where the Web Beacon is placed. We may use Web Beacons to count users and recognize users through Cookies. Access to Cookies helps us personalize your experience when you visit tressallure.com.

We may include Web Beacons in html formatted email messages that we or our affiliates or agents send. Including Web Beacons in email messages helps us determine your interest in, and the effectiveness of, such emails.

We may use Web Beacons externally. For example, we may report aggregate information about tressallure.com users, such as demographic and usage information, to third parties.

We may include other companies’ Web Beacons within tressallure.com. For example, we may allow other companies, called ad networks, to serve advertisements to users of tressallure.com. Ad networks include third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors, and research firms. Although we may target some ads to users that fit a certain general profile, we do not use personally identifiable information to target ads.

To deliver these ads properly, we may include a Web Beacon from these ad networks within pages served by tressallure.com so the networks may provide anonymous, aggregated, auditing, research and reporting for advertisers as well as for the purpose of targeting ads to you while you visit other websites. Because your web browser must request these advertisements and Web Beacons from the ad networks’ servers, these companies can view, edit, or set their own Cookies, just as if you had requested a webpage from their site.

These general targets may also be used by ad networks to display targeted ads on other websites as a substitute for random, irrelevant advertisements.

You may opt out of use of Web Beacons in the tressallure.com pages that you view, and of placement of a Cookie by ad networks in your browser. If you opt out you may loose the potential benefit of receiving ads that are more targeted to your interests which, in turn, may limit your ability to fully realize the benefits of tressallure.com.

13. Governing Law; Arbitration. This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the state of Florida without regard for principles of conflicts of laws. Notwithstanding the immediately preceding sentence, in no event shall either you or we be entitled to punitive, special, indirect, or consequential damages, and both you and we hereby waive respective rights to any punitive, special, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages from a loss of profit, revenue, or business. The provisions of the Terms of Use, including but not limited to, disclaimers of warranty limitation of liability and indemnification apply to this Privacy Policy.
